Hello, friends. It's been a long time. Far, far too long, in fact. Inexcusably long...
I have written in past blog entries about an ongoing medical condition that I have. This condition prevents me from always functioning at what most would consider a "normal" capacity. Over the past several months, this condition has been much more difficult and intense, causing me to have even less energy or focus than my usual diminished amount.
One of the many consequences of this period, as you have likely noticed if you are visiting this site, is the absence of new material for Still Ripples. Our last episode posted was for Easter 2014 - five months ago. Recording continued for several weeks on a new topical miniseries, as we intended to continue releasing new content throughout the summer.
Well, here we are at the beginning of October, and this site remains mostly dormant. But God is gracious. He has continued to encourage and bless me through family, friends, and my local church. And He has called me. I feel His urging to reignite the fire that once burned within me, a passion to play my small part in furthering the spread of His Truth and the message of the Gospel to others.
This post is intended as a promise and a commitment to Greg, Brian, and you, our viewers and listeners, that I will be focusing on editing, publishing, and releasing our latest content in the very near future. Our release schedule may be sporadic for the next several weeks, so please bare with us, but keep those subscriptions active and be aware that new content is coming.
In addition, I would like to ask for your prayers, not just for myself, but our entire team. As teachers, Greg and Brian are in particular need of prayer for knowledge, wisdom, and discernment -- and I would ask that you be in prayer for them and their loved ones.
May God bless each of you. Please remember that you can share prayer requests with us and the community publicly in the forums, by calling our voicemail line at 816-9-RIPPLE (816-974-7753), or privately by e-mailing us.
Thank you for your patience,
Craig
